The Guarantors of Brain is funded by the proceeds of its internationally recognised journals, BRAIN and Brain Communications. It is an independent charity committed to advancing neuroscience research and education. The Guarantors of Brain have two editorial offices with staff supporting each publication. A small finance and administration team work together with the Board of Management to deliver the charity's mission.

Salary: £36,800 - £41,800 pa depending on experience
Contract: 2 years Fixed-term
Probation: 3 months
Location: Hybrid (Cambridge)
Working pattern: Full time (38.5 hours/week)
Brain Communications, one of the two scientific journals of the Guarantors of Brain, is seeking an outstanding Scientific Editor to play a central role in the day-to-day editorial management of the journal.
